In the 10th year of the Merze Tate Explorers, we are excited to welcome new students and parents to our amazing organization! During our orientation, all learned of our mission and upcoming year of educational, volunteer, and media exploration.

Parents also took part as students interviewed them about their own lives and what they want for their daughters in the future. During the following meeting, Explorers created a studio program of the review of the book and movie, “The Hate U Give.” This Flip N’ Flick series will allow students to share what they have learned through books they read that have accompanying films.

Other students created two-minute videos to teach youth how to learn the 50 states.
