For the past 11 years the Explorers have been working their way toward seeing every continent. With 3 down, we will share of our 2019 adventures and unveil our 2020 destination at our 11th Annual Girls Can! event from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11. That day also marks the International Day of the Girl which celebrates the amazing young women who around the world.

Cheryl Dickson will present the keynote address. The Taiko Drummers and Trinity Prep Academy will provide the entertainment.

Come out and support or donate to this organization to invest in futures. The event also will feature new partnerships with Kalamazoo Valley Community College, Western Michigan University, unveil our 2019 Girls Can! magazine, and more!

Keynote speaker Cheryl Dickson, dean of the WMU Stryker Medical School will inspire girls through her story. Local women also will be recognized for their work in their fields.
