Winter Fun Mystery Day Uncategorized by Sonya Bernard-Hollins - January 30, 2023January 30, 20230 Allegan (Mich.)- The Merze Tate Explorers knew they were going someplace cold but, they had no clue where it would be. Thanks to local ski enthusiast Ollie Barnes, the Explorers went SKIING! Explorer board member Angie Daniels helps Jasmine snap into her ski at Bittersweet Ski Resort in Allegan, Michigan. Photo Copyright- Merze Tate Explorers. The adventure was one of many Mystery Day trips Explorers will take part in during the year. Each trip is sponsored by a local business or organization to provide girls with opportunities they may otherwise never experience. The law firm of Warner, Norcross, and Judd provided the sponsorship for this trip. None of the 16 parents or students who attended had ever taken to the slopes (a.k.a. Bunny Hill) to experience the winter fun sport. At the end of the day, they all said they wanted to go again! Explorers Lena, Sasha, and Kalee enjoy the slopes.
